Baby Buddha
Look what we made:
Our baby girl arrived July 22 at 6:16 p.m. after busting her own water at 8 a.m. that same day. Clearly a very polite baby, waiting for a decent hour of the morning to say “psst, it’s my birthday”. I was “due” on the 17th, The Man and I had both independently guessed she would come the 21st. So this is the first in a long line of her showing us.
She is perfect. We are in love. She keeps mostly vampire hours. We are exhausted. She blows our minds and endlessly expands our hearts. We are beyond language when it comes to describing the luck and wonder of Baby Buddha.
Thank you, universe. You really went and outdid yourself with this one.

That’s so sweet, congrats to you all! Jamie and I have an almost-two year old son now, and the last two years have been crazy/crazy-fun. Enjoy it all!
